How are you feeling these days?
Hopeful that we will all be back on campus soon. Fingers crossed!
What’s your favorite food?
So hard to choose, but my mom makes a delicious meal with sweet potatoes, lentils and chicken in the winter that I am always in the mood for.
What’s your guilty pleasure?
Trashy tv. Anything from the Bachelor to the Kardashians I am obsessed with.
What’s your favorite dessert?
Pumpkin pie!
Do you have a secret talent?
I can “throw my voice”. So basically, when I yell to someone, I can make it sound like I’m standing right next to them… it’s hard to explain.
How do you describe yourself in three words?
Fun-loving, ambitious, creative

Stylish, community, connection
Heels or flats?
Heels (or platforms). No question, I’m 5’1”, anything to make me feel taller.
What is the greatest fashion trend of all time?
High-waisted denim.
Must-have beauty product?
Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer.
What is your go-to dance move?
Depends on the song…
What do you want to be when you grow up?
I want to work in something creative, and something that allows me to be around fun, smart people.
What is your spirit animal?
A koala for sure.
Where is your favorite place to vacation?
Anywhere with a beach, but Nantucket, MA has always been my favorite place to go in the summer.
How are you enjoying quarantine?
Once you get into a routine it’s actually kind of nice? I miss my friends and being able to go out to eat or shop- but group facetime is helping a lot.
What is your biggest fear?
I’ve always been really afraid of death by drowning.
What advice would you give your 13-year-old self?
Don’t feel pressure to grow up too fast.
Where do you go when you need to be alone?
My room, or I go on a walk or run somewhere with my headphones in. It’s how I clear my head the best.
What do you find yourself doing a lot of these days?
I’m listening to Ashley Graham and Oprah Winfrey podcasts like all the time. Also, I’m obsessed with Rosie Huntington Whitley’s YouTube channel.
What is your current obsession?
See above.
What do you love most about your hometown?
The community feeling. And seeing all my friends from home. We grew up together, I feel like everyone is just cut from the same cloth in a good way.
What do you love the most about Wake Forest?
The people I’ve met. Everyone is so smart and likes to have fun, but also finds such a good way to balance everything. I really admire the group of students I go to school with.
What is one thing you could never live without?
My family.
What is your favorite season?
I was always a fall person, but I have fully transitioned to a summer addict.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
The sound of people chewing. It’s always bothered me, and I need to get better at not letting it be annoying lol. Self-growth!
Who is the most fashionable woman that you know?
I’m obsessed with Gigi Hadid’s style. I could just see myself wearing everything she puts on.
What is your favorite exercise?
I love a good spin class, or just going on walks with friends.
What is your current favorite song?
Harry Styles, Cherry. It’s on repeat for me.
What’s your favorite candy?
Kit-Kats. I eat them like Kourtney Kardashian.
What is your first memory in life?
I don’t know if it’s exactly my first memory, but I remember when I first learned to snap when I was like 3 or 4 years old. It’s like I snapped myself into consciousness.
Who is your biggest role model?
It’s cliché to say my mom, but she is honestly so hardworking so I would say her, there are so many incredible women these days to look up to though, so it’s hard to say. Literally anyone who has been a guest on Ashley Graham’s podcast Pretty Big Deal, or Amy Schumer.
What is the best advice you’ve ever been given?
Best advice I’ve ever been given? Probably to take safe risks everyday- to push myself to do something that challenges me or scares me everyday, even if it’s as small as speaking up in class or saying hi to someone I pass on campus.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Living in Paris or New York – doing something I am passionate about.
What show have you recently binge watched?
I re-watched Friends when I was abroad. It gave me a little slice of home. Currently I’m loving Schitt’s Creek.
What fictional character would you love to spend the day with?
This is a really tough question. Honestly maybe like Phineas and Ferb and just have a shenanigans filled day.
Which celebrity would you love to spend the day with?
So many- but maybe like Reese Witherspoon- I could just see us getting along and having a really nice day together.
What’s the last movie you watched?
I recently watched Bombshell.
What is your idea of the best first date?
If we are getting really far-fetched like a boat ride and then dinner or something.
What is the best gift you have ever received?
My aunt got my a pair of Jimmy Choo’s for my 18th birthday- she had let me borrow hers for like every prom I went to so it was kind of amazing that she got me my own… Or when my mom got me tickets to the musical Dear Evan Hansen.
What is the silliest nickname ever given to you?
My Dad calls me LouLouBelle. It’s endearing, but it was always pretty funny when he would cheer me on at lacrosse games or gymnastic meets with like “let’s go LouLouBelle!”.
When do you feel most beautiful?
After a day at the beach. Sun kissed skin, salty hair, comfy clothes and being with family and friends.
What’s your favorite song to blast in the car?
I feel like anytime you are with your girlfriends and Unwritten comes on by Natascha Bedingfield that is the best.
What would the title be if your life was a song?
Yeah, I Think I’m Gonna Like it Here
What was your first concert?
Miley Cyrus. My mom thought we would be seeing Hannah Montana, but then it was Miley Cyrus just before Can’t Be Tamed and was a little racier than she imagined lol.
What is your favorite word of all time?
Lovely.
What’s the thing you are most excited for in life right now?
Because of quarantine I’m pretty excited to just have more free time to do things I would otherwise put off. To get some hobbies started.

Classic, Beachy, Easy
What is your favorite beverage?
Something about a coke with lemon is always A+. Or a glass of red wine with steak.
What is your ideal birthday cake flavor?
Vanilla cake and a thin layer of chocolate frosting.
What is your favorite tv show of all time?
Arrested Development hands down. Funniest show.
If you had a superpower what would it be?
I would love to be able to read people’s minds.
What’s the best compliment you have ever received?
A French person once said I was like “champagne bubbles” or “sparkling” … une pétillante. That was definitely the best compliment.
What’s one habit you wish you could break?
I press snooze wayyyy to much.
What makes you laugh no matter what?
My brother or John Mulaney.
What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve ever done?
Getting on a bus with a bunch of French people when the Metro was down from Charles De Gaulle Airport to get back to my apartment. That was wild. And deserves more context but oh well.

What’s something you’ve always wanted to try but are too scared to?
I try to do things even if they scare me… but maybe like, I don’t know, go scuba diving.

Anguilla or the Seychelles- or wherever Will and Kate did their honeymoon.

Aquaphor for my lips.
What is your favorite city?
Paris, hands down.
What is your favorite flower?
Blue Hydrangeas- they remind me of summer and I love that color.
If you had a podcast what would it be about?
Just like how to be a kickass woman- I would love to be able to interview amazing women doing incredible things.
Favorite dish to cook?
I’m really good at like baking chocolate chip cookies- so it’s not really a dish but- oh well- I’m otherwise not the best cook.
Favorite book?
You Can’t Go Home Again, by Thomas Wolfe. I actually saw that book in ZSR my first week of college and it gave me such reassurance that I made the right choice for school.
Historical figure you would love to eat with?
Probably like Mary Cassatt, she was the only American impressionist artist and was a woman and she is just so cool. I would love to hear about what Paris was like during that time.
Favorite time of day?
Golden Hour. I always point it out to people when it’s a beautiful golden hour.
Puppies or kittens?
Puppies.
What is your favorite social media platform?
Instagram.
Go-to karaoke song?
Vienna by Billy Joel. I would hurt people’s ears, but it would be fun. Or Ultimate by Lindsay Lohan- the song she sings at the end of Freaky Friday.
What country do you hope to visit?
I want to see Japan.
Best way to decompress?
Go for a run, take a bath, put on a face mask, and watch some Netflix or YouTube.
Where is your happy place?
A beach picnic with family and friends.
